Thanks to your donations, the Johnson family founded the E. Eugene Johnson Memorial Foundation to honor the legacy of Hardeman County native, E. Eugene Johnson.
The purpose of the foundation, a Texas nonprofit corporation, is to enhance and improve public spaces, including parks, cemeteries, and museums, in Quanah and Hardeman County, Texas, and improve residents' quality of life the use and enjoyment of those spaces.

Our current initiatives support the Quanah Friends of the Park Volunteer Corps, assistance with the Goodlett Cemetery, and a new project to plant native trees to enhance the beautification of Quanah.
