Concert at the Park Scheduled Saturday, October 3, 2026

Austin Cunningham will be making his first trip back to Quanah since 2020 to take to the bandstand at Historic Quanah City Park on October 3, 2026. In addition, Doug Burr will be making a special appearance for a second year in a row.

Austin Cunningham is a distinguished Texas songwriter and performer whose work has been recorded by numerous major artists. His craftsmanship earned him the Johnny Mercer Award for Emerging American Songwriters, a recognition that underscores the depth and quality of his lyrical work. On stage, Austin delivers compelling performances marked by exceptional guitar work, a commanding voice, and fantastic storytelling.

Doug Burr is an acclaimed North Texas singer songwriter whose evocative, introspective style has made him one of the region’s most respected musical voices. His work has earned him honors including a Dallas Observer Music Award, a testament to both his songwriting excellence and his impact on the local music scene.
