Treemendous Quanah InitiativeIn conjunction with the West Kessler Native Arbor Initiative (WKNAI), the E. Eugene Johnson Memorial Foundation has initiated the Treemendous Quanah program. The WKNAI is a project of the West Kessler Neighborhood Association that was created in consultation with and the mentorship of the academics at the University of North Texas (UNT) and the Lewisville Aquatic Ecosystem Research Facility (LAERF). Working with the WKNAI, the Foundation will provide free native tree seedlings to Quanah public spaces. We work with volunteers to plant trees through local restoration projects to enhance the beautification of Quanah.
